Manufacturers first, always

Globix was founded in Kolkata in 1953 to manufacture manila, sisal and jute rope. Over seven decades, the product range has expanded to include brass and copper components, industrial sheets and gaskets, pipe and valve hardware, metals and industrial textiles, all supplied under the Globix name.

The rope manufacturing line remains active and is the core of what Globix does. It is also where our quality standards come from. When you manufacture rope, a single weak point fails the whole length: you learn to check everything, every time. That standard now applies across every category we supply, whether we make it ourselves or source it.

We supply buyers across India and to export destinations, handling everything from single specification orders to full container loads, with the export documentation required for cross-border shipments.
